Legal Custody
Legal custody is about who makes decisions for the children, it has NOTHING to do with the amount of time that each parent has the children. Joint Custody means that you and your spouse will share decision making regarding the children. Sole Custody means that the person with sole custody will make decisions for the children on their own.

Physical Custody
Now we are going to ask about physical custody. This is the schedule the children have and tells us when they are staying with each parent. There are three (3) schedules There is Regular, Summer and Holiday. The Regular schedule is what is in place during the school year. The Summer is where the children are in the summer when there is not school. The holiday schedule divides major holidays.
